Dutch design studio Dennis Vanderbroeck have erected the world’s largest inflatable sculpture for Diesel’s Spring/Summer 2023 show at Milan Fashion Week.

The inflatable sculpture was the centrepiece of Diesel’s Spring Summer 2023 showcase on 21 September 2022 at the Allianz Cloud Arena.

The nylon sculpture was 50 metres long, 38-metres wide and 14-metres tall, and has been certified by Guinness World Records. Studio founders Dennis Vanderbroek and Luc de Kock’s design depicted a collection of four silver bodies merging and falling into each other.

They collaborated with inflatable manufacturer Bigger Than Life to produce the work, which is influenced by Ancient sculptures. The Diesel show featured a 4,800-person audience comprising 3,000 members of the public and 1,600 Milanese fashion students.
